I wish I could freeze those moments
and save them from the tricks of time
the melancholy feeling of loosing everything
the sense of guilt I can’t deny..
As you waved goodbye
with an absent minded smile
I could do nothing! Helpless!
just felt the tears rolling down my eyes
I know you will never leave me
even as you fade from view
your love has anchored deep within
and shall not vanish like the morning dew
In a world of chaos, there’s this dream,
a quest towards the horizon to discover peace;
a strife for a new morn, a new beginning,
a dwelling full of contentment, is all a seeker seeks,
But,all that i have, is a wounded heart;
a soul, shackled within, struggling to break free,
Standing at the cross-roads, alone in an unending voide,
all lost, dejected, tossed in the stormy waves within;
hope! At a distance, just doors and no more keys;
In my melancholy… I heard a voice next to me….
I raised my gaze… The epitome of love and mercy;
Nailed to the cross, in inconceivable pain and agony;
saved by his sacrifice, that I could have life, and life in abundance;
here at the foot of the cross my lord set me free……….
